(WIBA)
What is Covered ?
The WIBA policy offers coverage for employees of the insured while on duty and involved in the execution of the insured's business or related projects. It safeguards against accidental bodily injury, disablement, death, or occupational illness, with compensation provided under the WIBA Act 2007. This ensures that employees injured at work receive compensation in accordance with Kenyan law.
WIBA Benefits
- Death: Compensation up to a maximum of 8 years' earnings or 96 months' earnings.
- Permanent Total Disability: Compensation up to a maximum of 8 years' earnings or 96 months' earnings.
- Temporary Total Disability: Compensation equivalent to weekly earnings for up to a maximum of 52 weeks.
- Medical Expenses: A free cover limit of up to Kshs. 100,000 per employee, with the option for the insured to choose a higher limit.
- Funeral/Last Expense Cover: A free cover limit of up to Kshs. 30,000 per employee, with the option for the insured to select a higher limit.
