Linus Gitahi was appointed Chairman of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited in 2025. He also serves as the current Chairman of the Boards of Tropikal Brands (Afrika) Limited, Diamond Trust Bank Limited, Oxygene Marketing Communications Limited, and Zenufa Pharmaceuticals in Tanzania. In addition, he is a board member of Simba Corporation and the Kenya Association of Manufacturers.

Linus has occupied various managerial position in several countries including CEO of
Nation Media Group and, at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), CEO of GSK Nigeria, and
Commercial Director for Near East Region (based in Cyprius), General Manager for
East Africa and Indian Ocean (based in Nairobi), Marketing Director for Africa (based in
London).

Linus is also Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIMO), and a holder of the
Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) from the Government of Kenya.

George is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of senior management experience in Kenya's financial services sector; George's career includes a significant tenure as a CEO.

His robust skill spans key operational areas, including insurance, risk management, distribution and underwriting. He has established a proven track record of delivering innovative, profitable growth and has been instrumental in cultivating strong stakeholder relationships across the financial sector.

George holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Strathmore Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi, a Diploma from the UK';s Chartered Institute of Insurance, and he is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Kenya. He is also a member of the General Insurance Council and Board member of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI), and he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Jubilee Allianz Burundi.

Amine El Kernighi has over 23 years of professional experience, including 17 years in the insurance sector across both local and international markets. He currently serves as the Regional Executive Director - General Insurance, Southern and Eastern Africa at Sanlam Allianz, where he provides strategic leadership across the region. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.
He holds an Engineering Degree in Automation and Industrial IT from Ingenieur d'État - Ecole Mohammadia d'Ingenieurs, Morocco, and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Ecole Centrale, Casablanca.
He also serves as a Board Member of SanlamAllianz Mauritius, SanlamAllianz Senegal Life, and SanlamAllianz Senegal Non-Life.

Cathrine Njeri Gitobu currently serves as Managing Director (E.A.) at Cooper K Brands Limited, Nairobi, Kenya. She serves on the Board of Directors of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.
She has previously held senior leadership roles in reputable organisations, including Sarova Hotels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Bombay, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Nairobi, and has completed the Advanced Management Programme in Leadership and Management at Strathmore University.

Margaret Dawes has built extensive experience in finance and corporate leadership. Until her retirement, she served at Sanlam Emerging Markets holding various roles across the region. She previously held the position of Financial Director at African Life Assurance Company and at M Cubed Holdings Ltd, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange- listed company. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of London, Bedford College, and is an ACA and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a CA(SA) and Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She also holds a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française (DALF), Niveau C1.

Abdellatif Mouad currently serves as the Regional Executive Director; General Insurance for the SanlamAllianz CIMA Zone, bringing extensive regional leadership experience across the insurance sector. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.

He holds a Higher Technician Certificate in Accounting and Management of Organisations from Amiens Academy, France; a Master of Accounting and Financial Technical Sciences (MSTCF) from the University of Paris XII Val de Marne; a Master 2 in Finance, Accounting, Management and Audit from Paris IX Dauphine University; and a Master of Business Administration (Management Programme – Insurance Major) from CNAM/Ecole Nationale des Assurances, Paris. He has also completed executive programmes at California State University, San Bernardino, and Centrale SupElec, Casablanca.

Mr. Jean is the Honorary president of the French foreign trade advisors for East Africa and board of director of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited. Jean is also an elected board member at the French Chamber of Commerce in Nairobi.
Jean has more than 37 years of professional life in Kenya working as Country Director for Thales East Africa as well as various other managerial positions in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt in Nigeria, and finally in East Africa. This long experience in the region has enabled him to create a strong network within the private and Government sectors in different countries across East Africa.
Jean is a holder of the French Order of Merit award from the President of France.

Ms. Phyllis is the Senior Advisor and Global Lead for Commerce and Industry at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and board of director of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited.
She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a Master’s degree in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Nairobi, and an MBA from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Mr. John Joseph Metcalf has served as the Head of Insurance at AKFED since 2006. In this role, he oversees the company’s insurance operations, including the management of investments in 10 insurance entities across seven countries in Africa, Pakistan, and Kyrgyzstan. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Sanlam Allianz General Insurance (Kenya) Limited. Mr. Metcalf holds the prestigious Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification from the United Kingdom, as well as an BA (Hons) in Banking, Insurance & Finance from Sheffield Hallam University.
